Madeleine Berkhemer’s sculptures betray her origin as a fashion designer.
She makes use of nylon materials and artificial lighting, which give her sculptures the illusion of chandeliers, fountains or gigantic precious stones. Berkehemer did flagship store performances for Agnes B (Paris), Christian Louboutin (Miami) and assisted at Maison Margiela. Her landscape design Lost Pearls is in the Rotterdam Euromast Park and is also certified playground equipment.
