New citizens build on positive human residue of the past. That is why craftsmanship and master art are important to them. The Amsterdam Rijksmuseum is the keeper of cultural heritage. Fragments of paintings by the Masters of the ‘Rijks’ have been transferred on carpets displaying abstract color fragments as rich as the heritage of the originals of Rembrandt, Vermeer, Toorop, Gabriel and Breitner.
